9-16-02
This weeks beer is Sam Adams Light. Why?
Its my Birthday so thats what I want to drink.

8-12-02
This week's beer of the week is the Great Lakes Brewing Company's "Burning River Pale Ale". I don't know if I've ever had this beer, but my uncle gave me a sweet tap with this logo on it, so there you go. Get you some. Or get some of the crap American beer in my kegerator.

7-8-02
This week's beer, and the beer for the next month is Molson Golden... come to Thirsty's domicile to get some draught goodness sucka!
- McThirsty 7-8-02

7-1-02
Read the freestyle suckelles! This week's beer is American swill! Grab a Busch Light and shove a flag up your ass you patriotic bastards!
- McThirsty 7-1-02

6-18-02
This week's beer is "Seventy Six" by the Buckeye Brewing Company. This was the most memorable beer at the Midwest Brewfest to Uncle McThirsty. The Buckeye Brewing Company is located inside of the Brew Keeper, a place to brew your own beer. Seventy Six is a very hoppy ale, my kind of stuff.

6-3-02
This week's beer is the Czech beer Pilsner-Urquell. The official beer of Erkel from Family Matters, and Heitic when he's not drinking Zima.

5-20-02
This weeks beer is Sam Adams "Spring Ale". This delightful brew kept me warm on a rainy chilly evening. Oh wait, it was the bonfire that kept me warm. This brew just kept me drunk.
- McThirsty 5-20-02

4-29-02
This week's beer of the week is anything from the American brewing company Stroh's. They make plenty of shite products, but before you pick up a cheap beer this week, spend 2 extra seconds and look for the "Stroh's" name on it. That shit is fire brewed, so it will keep you warm at night. Perfect before the summer starts.
- McThirsty 4-29-02

4-22-02
This week's beer of the week is "Crystal" from the Czech Republic. If you see it somewhere, drink some. It will make you happy.
- McThirsty 4-22-02

4-15-02
This week's beer is Coors Light. Nothing special about this brew, other than the fact I received a few free Coors Light's from a Coors distributor the other night at a show. Damn brew company's trying to get Uncle McThirsty to sponsor their product. But hey, free brew is free brew. Of course however, you'll have to drink about 14 of these to get your buzz on,,, well, that is unless your name is VeeGee,,, then it will only take about 3. Happy drinking.
- McThirsty 4-15-02

4-8-02
This weeks beer is the Great Lakes Brewing Co.'s "Edmund Fitzgerald Porter". Just picked it because it was something new I tried over the weekend (actually just had a taste of VeeGee's), and it didn't taste half bad. "Really Malty" were the words I used to describe it at the time. Oh yeah, I also enjoyed it because the distinctive black color makes this brew look like Lake Erie did during the mid-eighties. Good day.

3-18-02
This weeks beer is anything green. Take one beer, add 2 drops green food coloring, drink. Don't drink too much however, you're might just turn into the Incredible Hulk.... Bucho's Bar will not be held liable if this happens.

3-4-02
This week's beer of the week is the Great Lakes Brewing Company "Eliot Ness"
brand. I picked it because I always like liquified people floating in my
brew. Turns out once he died, the Great Lakes Brewing Company purchased his
body, and then threw it in the liquifying machine. They put one drop of
Eliot Ness liquid in every brew. Now thats what I call flavored beer.

2-24-02
This weeks beer is Pabst Blue Ribbon, thats right good ol' PBR. When I
think of PBR, I get a mental picture of eighties icon Gary Coleman sporting
a mullet for some reason. That makes me laugh.

2-15-02
This week's beer of the week is Guinness (yes again). Why? Because Thirsty
is too sick to think of anything else. Get off my jock.
www.guinness.com

2-8-02
This week's beer is Fuller's London Pride Pale Ale. Thirsty is a big fan of
Pale Ale, and this is one of the best I've ever had. It even says
"outstanding" on the label. Damn them Brits and their damn brit cockiness.
Nevertheless, this beer is good. Let's drink.
McThirsty 2-4-02

1-28-02
This weeks beer is good ol' Budweiser. Americans like beer. Anheiser Busch
is the biggest American brewery. Hence Budweiser, the most popular American
lager. Thirsty isn't a regular consumer, but I do live in America. Amen.
McThirsty 1-28-02

1-21-02
This weeks beer is Birra Moretti, a nice Italian brew. I have a hard time
finding it around here, but when I do, its lasagna time! Thats right, I eat
lasagna, drink Moretti, and watch the Sopranos. I then randomly walk the
streets, kill someone, and then dump them in a river. Beer is good.
McThirsty 1-21-02

1-14-02
This week's beer of the week is Crooked River's robust Porter. You may have
read my post on hating the Pumpkin Ale that they included in their sampler
pack, but this porter is damn good. It's so good in fact that I'm going to
marry it. Next time you have a Crooked River robust Porter, pay respect to
Thirsty's wife, Mrs. robust Porter

1-7-02
This week's beer is Western Reserve Brewing Company's "Bockzilla". Western Reserve is a Cleveland Brewing company, so I like that, but I actually don't
really like this beer. Its the only beer I've had that makes me thirsty
while drinking it. Well, why did I pick it then? Well got dammit, the
title makes me laugh, so to hell with you.

12-18-01
This weeks beer is Becks Dark. I've never had
a Becks, but some poor sole left some in my fridge, so they will be getting drank, oh yes. Now where's my fucking schnitzel?

This weeks beer is Cooper's Best Extra Stout. I'm technically a week late
on this one, but I think I'm still drunk from last Sunday's drunken
exploits. Oh yeah, this beer is good.

This week I'm going with something simple….Rum & Coke. Oh, and I really wouldn't recommend trying a different "cola", nothing seems to taste as good as Coke in this drink. Next week I'll come up with something better, been spending most of my time working on some new stuff for the site.

The drink of the week is tequila. Why? Well, cause I said so and after recently spending some time in Mexico I've gained an appreciation for tequila. There's a really cool bar in Cozumel called Carlos'n Charlies which is the main reason why I chose tequila this week. They have guys on tables around the dance floor with bottles of tequila that poor it in your mouth as you dance or walk by them. Free Alcohol, can't go wrong with that. For those of you that don't like it straight I've included a recipe for a pretty good margarita and more recipes are available from Jose Cuervo. Happy Drinking!
Markwood 12-11-01

Tequila Margarita
3 parts (1 ½ oz.) Tequila
5 parts (2 ½ oz.) pineapple juice
